Corrections and updates
When a publication by The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) contains an error, or newer evidence supersedes a finding, the change is recorded here. A correction is a new, dated version with a note of what changed and why; it is never a silent edit. Superseded versions stay accessible, marked as superseded, so anyone who relied on them can see what was different. Entries appear here as corrections are issued; the page does not show items that have not been recorded. It belongs to publications and professional briefs.

Fig.How a finding is reviewed before it is published. Design, not a record.
The short answer.
GRA corrections and updates is the record of every change to a GRA publication: a correction is a new, dated version with a note of what changed and why, never a silent edit, and superseded versions stay accessible and marked. Earlier statements without a record are withdrawn until each has a dated source.

Correction, update or withdrawal.
An error fixed
A factual, calculation or labelling mistake. The corrected version says what was wrong.
Evidence superseded
A source has been revised or newer evidence is available. The finding is restated with its new evidence label.
No longer supported
A finding or publication can no longer be supported. It stays visible, marked as withdrawn, with the reason.

Terms used on this page.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Correction | A published notice that amends an error in a work whose main findings stand. |
| Silent edit | A change to a published record made without a new version, notice or date. |
| Version of record | The fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses. |
Withdrawn claims from earlier pages.
Earlier statements on GRA pages, including figures, capability descriptions and status claims, are withdrawn from use until each has a dated, sourced record, as explained on claims and programme status. The full challenge routes are on corrections and concerns. Corrections to Nexus Reports are recorded by The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) on GCRI corrections and updates.
