Strategy 2026–2030

This page describes the development horizon The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) works toward between 2026 and 2030: the institution it is designed to become, the outputs that would show progress and the limits on what any strategy can promise. It is not a forecast and not a set of targets presented as results. Each output is reported only when its record exists, through the institutional annual review. The current service level is R0: information and enquiries.

01In brief

The short answer.

GRA Strategy 2026 to 2030 describes the institution GRA is designed to become, the outputs that would show progress and the limits on what any strategy can promise. It is not a forecast or a set of targets presented as results, and each output is reported only when its record exists.

02Canvas

Mandate to authority.

Canvas · mandate to authorityDesign, not a record
How The Global Risks Alliance is governedA mandate sets the platform's scope; an editor and reviewers govern what it publishes; programmes and the community supply the work; the integrity route handles corrections; authority over decisions stays outside. Design of the governance, not a record.

04Starting point

Where GRA stands today.

  • GRA is a nonprofit corporation registered in Nevada, United States, operating as a business league for the financial services industry, and one of three pillar institutions of Nexus Consortiums.
  • The current service level is R0: information and enquiries.
  • Membership terms, the competition policy and readiness engagements are not yet in force.
  • Earlier statements without a dated, sourced record are withdrawn from use.

06Limitations

What this strategy cannot promise.

No dates

Timing follows capacity

A route opens only when its team, terms and review capacity exist. No date is promised on this page.

No figures

No targets as results

No membership count, partner, fee or performance figure appears without a dated, sourced record.

No finance

Readiness only

No output of this strategy is a promise of funding, cover or capital to anyone.

07Key terms

Terms used on this page.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.

TermDefinition
Strategic planA document that sets an organization's objectives, priorities and the means of reaching them over a stated period, with the measures by which progress will be judged.
Theory of changeA stated chain of causes from a programme's activities to its intended outcomes, used to plan evaluation.
Claim ceilingThe strongest statement a page may make about a capability, set by the evidence on record; without operating evidence a page describes a design or an integration, never readiness.
08Alignment

Within the Consortium's annual rhythm.

GRA's horizon follows the annual cycle of Nexus Consortiums: one year of work, one month to build, one week to test and a planned stand-down, with review and corrections continuing afterwards. The Global Risks Forum (GRF) governs the annual programme and The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) leads evidence and methods. See About GRA, GRA in the Consortium and Nexus Universe at GRF.

09Questions

Questions and answers.

Is this an adopted strategic plan?
It is the development horizon GRA works toward. Where an output depends on an adopted document, the page says so, and progress is reported only with its record.
How will progress be measured?
By records: a document adopted, a route opened, a method or study published with its review history. Each appears in the institutional annual review with its limits.
Will GRA publish targets?
Only with a record of how they were set and who set them. GRA does not present an aspiration as a result.

Start with an enquiry.

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
