People and accountable roles

Financial readers need to know who is accountable for an institution's work, and on what record. The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) names officers, directors, council members and representatives only with a current, verified record. This page sets out the roles GRA is designed to have, how a named person appears here and what a role does not confer. Nobody should cite this site as evidence that they hold a GRA role until their name appears here. See About GRA.

01In brief

The short answer.

People and accountable roles at GRA are the officers, directors, council members and representatives the institution is designed to have, each named only with a current, verified record. The page sets out the roles, how a named person appears and what a role never confers, and no one should cite the site as proof of a role until listed.

Mandate to authority.

How The Global Risks Alliance is governedA mandate sets the platform's scope; an editor and reviewers govern what it publishes; programmes and the community supply the work; the integrity route handles corrections; authority over decisions stays outside. Design of the governance, not a record.

05How a name appears

Verified before published.

  1. 01

    Record

A current document shows the appointment, its capacity and its start date.

  2. 02

    Consent

The person agrees to be named, with the role worded as the record states it.

  3. 03

    Conflicts

Interests relevant to the role are declared and recorded, with recusal where they bear on a decision.

  4. 04

    Review and removal

Names are reviewed and removed when a role ends; a change becomes a recorded version.

06Key terms

07Boundaries

What a GRA role never confers.

Participation

Not authority

Taking part in a GRA platform, working group or council gives no one power to speak for GRA, for a consortium or for any public authority.

Public officials

Official capacity only

Supervisors and other public officials are not members of GRA; they take part in open work only in their official capacity and under their own institution's rules.

Counterparts

Other institutions

Leadership councils across the Consortium, including the National Leadership Council (NLC), are described by The Global Risks Forum (GRF) on Leadership and councils.

08Questions

Questions and answers.

Why are no names listed?
GRA publishes people only when a current, verified record supports them. Earlier statements made on GRA pages are withdrawn from use until each has a dated, sourced record.
Someone says they represent GRA. How can I check?
If the name and role do not appear on this page, treat the claim as unverified and write to integrity@globalriskalliance.com. The acknowledgement gives a reference and names the next step.
Does a council seat give regulatory standing?
No. GRA councils are not public agencies and confer no statutory or supervisory standing, no professional licence and no right to speak for an employer.

Start with an enquiry.

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
