Skills and professional learning

Systemic risk asks financial professionals to read evidence from outside finance: hazard science, infrastructure dependencies, model uncertainty and compound scenarios. The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) is designing learning materials and programmes to build those skills across the industry. Learning is not yet open. When it opens, completion will be recorded only when verified, and no programme will confer a licence, a certificate of competence or regulated authority. This page belongs to membership and participation.

  3. 03

    Exercises

The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) runs its own academy and learning programme. On this site, see professional participation and professional working groups.

08Questions

Questions and answers.

Will learning be free?
No fee is published and none is charged today. Any fee would be published with its issuer, currency, effective date and schedule before a programme opens.
Do I need to be a member?
Open materials are designed to be available to anyone. Some programmes may be designed for members; their terms will say so.
Can I count GRA learning towards professional development hours?
Only where a professional body has recognised it, and that recognition is on record. GRA does not claim any such recognition today.
Can I teach or contribute material?
Experts can offer to contribute at research@globalriskalliance.com.
