The Global Risks Alliance (GRA)
How to challenge content on Insurance Nexus, report an error or raise a concern, and what happens next.
GRA · Established · service level R0
Corrections and concerns is the Insurance Nexus route for challenging a finding, reporting an error or raising a privacy or safeguarding concern about its work on insurance and catastrophe. Each report receives a reference and is reviewed, where possible, by someone not involved in the work; the outcome is a published new version with its history, or a reasoned decline.

For corrections, concerns and escalation, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on population density and night lights with built-up and settlement extent from NASA GIBS, framed on the Gulf of Mexico coast; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.
The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

In Insurance Nexus's field the error readers most often catch is a modelled loss shown as if reported, or an insured figure mixed with an economic one. A correction request names the passage, the source and the reason; Insurance Nexus records the change and the date. Rule statuses are rechecked against the issuing body, because milestones such as IAIS baseline self-assessment of Insurance Capital Standard implementation (2026) can move.
Insurance Nexus also corrects statements about Insurance Core Principles, ComFrame and the Insurance Capital Standard when the issuing body changes them.
You receive a reference and the next step.
The concern is reviewed by someone not involved in the original work, where possible.
A correction is published as a new version with its history; a declined challenge receives reasons.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Correction | A published notice that amends an error in a work whose main findings stand. |
| Retraction | The formal withdrawal of a published work whose findings are unreliable, with a notice that stays visible. |
| Expression of concern | A notice that alerts readers to serious doubts about a work while they are investigated. |
| Silent edit | A change to a published record made without a new version, notice or date. |
The bodies and documents this page is read against. Status and editions change; each link goes to the issuing body.
The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
