The platform covers sovereign wealth funds, reserve and pension reserve funds, state holding companies and the portfolios of state-owned enterprises. It studies their mandates, governance, exposures and long-horizon stewardship at sector level. It is distinct from sovereign debt, which is covered by Public Finance and Sovereign Debt: a state's invested assets and its fiscal obligations are different things, with different risks.
Its methods are sovereign exposure analysis, governance assessment and the study of state asset dependencies, grounded in financial economics and macro-finance and decision analysis under uncertainty.
Sovereign Capital Nexus is an established GRA community. Its thesis concerns sovereign wealth and state-owned investment institutions, national asset risk and long-horizon stewardship. It serves sovereign wealth and reserve fund managers, public debt managers, ministry of finance analysts and state-enterprise governance specialists.
