How Development Finance Nexus is governedA mandate sets the platform's scope; an editor and reviewers govern what it publishes; programmes and the community supply the work; the integrity route handles corrections; authority over decisions stays outside. Design of the governance, not a record.

03Geography

People and exposure in Southern Africa.

For industry scope and publisher, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on night lights and population density with night lights tonight from NASA GIBS, framed on Southern Africa; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

07Publisher

Who is responsible.

GRA publishes Development Finance Nexus and answers for its content. As a business league, GRA works to improve conditions across the industry as a whole, not to serve any single firm. Its work in development finance is shared understanding: common vocabulary, evidence standards and worked examples that institutions can use, or not, under their own policies.

  • Status: established. Development Finance Nexus is an established platform of The Global Risks Alliance (GRA). The current service level is R0: information and enquiries.
  • Why a dedicated platform: Development Finance Nexus keeps its existing community and published site, and its existing activity is published as its records are confirmed.
  • Trust rules: regulated boundaries, conflicts and sponsorship and competition and antitrust.
09Competition safeguards

Designed before membership opens.

Development finance institutions compete as well as cooperate. GRA programmes are designed with competition safeguards: no discussion of pricing, terms or individual deals, aggregated data only, agendas and minutes for meetings, and counsel review. These safeguards are set out in a written competition policy that counsel reviews before membership opens. See competition and antitrust.
