01In brief

The short answer.

The Fintech Nexus global programme is the shared agenda of priorities in the capital markets and investment field that cut across countries, such as payments and innovation and digital assets risk, with the methods used to compare them. It is an agenda, not a claim of global offices, and each element shows its status from the programme record.

Global industry questions: a programme through its gatesA request with a named owner becomes a scoping note; inputs are qualified at a gate; delivery runs in workstreams; a controlled test and an independent review precede publication; the owner decides. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

03Geography

Activity and exposure in East Africa.

For global industry questions, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on night lights and population density with night lights tonight from NASA GIBS, framed on East Africa; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

05Global agenda

Fintech Nexus questions that cut across countries.

  • Where is provider concentration highest? (Fintech Nexus)
  • Does digital inclusion survive disasters? (Fintech Nexus)
  • How will payment transparency change fraud? (Fintech Nexus)

The global Fintech Nexus agenda is cross-border payment targets, read against CPMI-IOSCO, FATF and European Union.

These Fintech Nexus questions are framed for payments and fintech risk officers, compliance and financial-crime teams and technology resilience engineers, with scenario designs such as a cloud region loss during a regional disaster.
