01In brief

The short answer.

Private Credit publications are the platform's reviewed, citable outputs, such as private credit structure briefs and market risk studies. Each carries its authors, date, method, evidence labels and editorial status, and a correction creates a new version with its history. Contributions to series such as Finance and Insurance Readiness as well as Scenario and Stress-Test also appear in Nexus Reports.

Reports and sector briefs: an edition from outline to correctionAn outline is agreed; chapters are drafted; every value is traced in the data check; peer reviewers with declared conflicts review; the editor decides; the edition is released with an identifier and corrected only by new versions. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

03Geography

Activity and exposure in the Great Lakes.

For reports and sector briefs, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on population density, night lights and true-colour imagery with built-up and settlement extent from NASA GIBS, framed on the Great Lakes; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

04What is published

Every output shows its status.

  • Each publication carries its authors, date, method, evidence labels and editorial status.
  • Corrections create a new version with its history.
  • Series contributions also appear in Nexus Reports; see Publish in Nexus Reports.
05Publication types

What Private Credit is designed to publish.

  • Linkage notes on bank and insurer exposure from Private Credit, each with evidence labels, sources and limits.
  • Stress scenario designs from Private Credit, each with evidence labels, sources and limits.
  • Sector briefs on valuation and leverage from Private Credit, each with evidence labels, sources and limits.

Every Private Credit publication is reviewed before release, and the most common correction it guards against is a hypothetical loan book read as a real one.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.

TermDefinition
Version of recordThe fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses.
Peer reviewEvaluation of a work by independent experts in the field before publication.
CorrectionA published notice that amends an error in a work whose main findings stand.
Evidence labelA tag naming the kind of evidence, such as observed or modelled, that should survive every summary.
