01In brief

The short answer.

Trust, rights and status at Insurance Nexus is the public record of who publishes the platform, how its results are labelled, how data rights are protected and what the platform is today. The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) publishes it and controls the personal data it holds. Being named, listed or published on the platform is not an endorsement, certification or approval.

How a correction moves on Insurance NexusA report is acknowledged and triaged; a reviewer not involved in the original work assesses it; the outcome is a new version with its history or a reasoned decline, and the reporter is told either way. Design of the workflow, not a record.

03Geography

Activity and exposure in the Gulf of Mexico coast.

For antitrust, independence and financial perimeter, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on population density and night lights with built-up and settlement extent from NASA GIBS, framed on the Gulf of Mexico coast; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

04Status

What the platform is, today.

  • Insurance Nexus is an established platform published by The Global Risks Alliance.
  • The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
  • GRA is a nonprofit business league for the financial services industry. It does not lend, underwrite, rate, invest, advise on or arrange transactions, and readiness work is not approval.
05Safeguards

The safeguards specific to Insurance Nexus.

  • No discussion or publication of premiums, rates, deductibles or commissions.
  • No discussion or publication of which risks, regions or clients to write or decline.
  • No discussion or publication of reinsurance capacity or renewal terms.
  • No discussion or publication of claims handling of any named policyholder.
  • Competitors in Insurance Nexus never exchange policyholder data or your own rates, retentions or reinsurance terms.

See the GRA competition and antitrust safeguards that apply to Insurance Nexus.

These Insurance Nexus safeguards sit within GRA's written competition policy, which counsel reviews before membership opens.
