6.1Capital Meaning: the GRA reading in the GCRI edition

The Global Risks Alliance (GRA)’s reading of Global Food 2026, as printed in chapter 6 of the Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) Systems Evidence edition (GRA · KEY F).

Readiness implications only. Import bills are at a record, price volatility has risen and humanitarian funding is falling [24] [2] [5]. These show where finance-readiness evidence will matter. Nothing here is advice, a rating or an approval.

How far finance and insurance are ready for the risks in scope: protection gaps, disclosure practice, portfolio readiness and the capacity of balance sheets, read on a ladder of evidence and never as advice or a rating. Material for this chapter goes to the GRA Capital Readiness desk; what belongs to another desk is forwarded, not refused.
