01In brief

The short answer.

The Institutional Funds Nexus regions page maps its work on capital markets and investment across the six Consortium regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, and North America. A regional entry appears only where a programme record supports it, with its status.

02Spatial finance

Where a portfolio's assets sit, and how much of its value is most exposed. Hypothetical assets, not an assessment.

Sixteen assets at real towns, and the share of portfolio value in the most exposed places.Hypothetical assets and design scores, not advice.

04Regional view

Pension systems by design.

Funded systems dominate in some countries and pay-as-you-go in others, which changes who bears climate and market risk: members, sponsors or the state. Heat-related mortality and morbidity also vary by region, affecting liabilities. Health evidence at GCRI Health Nexus.

Regional differences matter for Institutional Funds Nexus because OECD and IOPS standards are adopted at different speeds, and hazards and market structure differ. A regional entry would cite allocations, liabilities and collateral positions.

05Status

Work is shown as its record stands.

Programmes are listed as exploring, forming, constituted, active, paused or archived. Country and regional entries appear when a programme record supports them.
