Industry scope and publisher

Asset Management Nexus is published by The Global Risks Alliance (GRA), a nonprofit corporation registered in Nevada, United States, operating as a business league for the financial services industry. A business league works for the common interest of an industry, not the private business of any member. This page sets out the platform's industry scope, its subject community and its legal limitations. The platform home gives the overview.

01In brief

The short answer.

Asset Management Nexus is a specialist platform of The Global Risks Alliance for capital markets and investment, climate and hazards, and biodiversity and nature. Its mandate covers public and private asset management, long-term risk, stewardship and systemic investment exposures. GRA publishes it, answers for its content and takes no decision on anyone's behalf. It is established and works at service level R0, information and enquiries.

How Asset Management Nexus is governedA mandate sets the platform's scope; an editor and reviewers govern what it publishes; programmes and the community supply the work; the integrity route handles corrections; authority over decisions stays outside. Design of the governance, not a record.

03Geography

Activity and exposure in North America.

For industry scope and publisher, in GRA's spatial-finance reading, the map opens on night lights and population density with built-up and settlement extent from NASA GIBS, framed on North America; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

09How work is organised

Precompetitive by design.

  1. 01

    Shared questions

Work addresses questions every institution faces and none can answer alone, such as common exposures.

  2. 02

    Public methods

Methods and their limits are published so that each institution can apply them independently.

  3. 03

    Separate decisions

Investment and business decisions stay with each institution. See fiduciary boundaries.
